Our Vision

Our vision is to create a safe, thriving space to learn, create, celebrate & belong, shaped by the dreams & voices of the neighborhood.

Our Values

We lead with integrity & relationship

We believe strong relationships are the foundation for good work. Trust, honesty, and deep listening help us build a culture that values people, not just outcomes. We do our best to lead with both compassion and clarity.

At 915 North Main, we care just as much about how we do our work as what we’re working toward. These principles reflect the kind of culture we’re trying to build—one shaped by trust, collaboration, shared leadership, and deep care for the community we serve.

We work together, not alone

We don’t expect anyone to carry the work alone. We encourage mutual support, rest, and team-based problem solving. Everyone’s contributions matter, and we do better when we lean on one another and lift each other up.

We share leadership & responsibility

Everyone brings valuable gifts to the table. We strive to match responsibility with authority, give credit where it’s due, and support one another in clear and respectful ways. We trust that shared leadership leads to stronger, healthier work.

We center the community

This project exists to serve and partner with the North Hill community. We believe the people most connected to this place should have real influence over decisions. We aim to listen closely, remain open to feedback, and build lasting relationships rooted in mutual respect.

A Shared Commitment

We don’t expect perfection, but we do want to stay grounded in values that help us work well together and build something that truly serves the neighborhood. These principles give us a way to keep returning to what matters most.

We speak honestly & listen well

We value open, honest communication—even when it’s uncomfortable. We believe it’s possible to name challenges without blame and to offer feedback with kindness and curiosity. Staying connected through hard conversations helps us grow.

We practice intercultural awareness & care

We recognize that people show up in different ways based on culture, background, and life experience. We try to notice our own assumptions, stay curious, and create space for a range of voices and ways of working. We are always learning how to be more inclusive and responsive.
